Go whale watching in Middelfart with M/S Sabine and discover porpoises in the Little Belt. The area around Middelfart is known as one of the best places in Denmark to experience guinea pigs in the wild.
Whale watching in the Little Belt provides good opportunities to experience porpoises up close. On our sailing trips in the Little Belt we keep an eye on porpoises, seals and seabirds as we sail through the beautiful waters between Funen and Jutland.

MS Sabine was built at Esbjerg shipyard in 1959 as No. 3 out of 4 similar bunker boats, ordered by the oil company Gulf. She sailed under the name Gulf 3, first in Esbjerg harbour, then in Hvide Sande, Hanstholm and Copenhagen, carrying diesel and lubricating oil for the cutters, and could load respectively 8 tons of lubricating oil and 18 tons of diesel, which were in large iron tanks.
In 1995 she was taken out of service, and in 1996 was sold to a master carpenter in Esbjerg. From 1996 until 1999 she underwent a total refit, and was converted into a pleasure vessel. From 1999 until 2019, she has sailed under the name Langli, as a pleasure vessel, b.la. up the Swedish coast, down through Germany, and in the North Sea. In 2019, she will again be registered as a commercial vessel, authorized as a tour boat with up to 12 passengers under the name MS Sabine.
